The Solid Waste Regulations require that anyone who hauls solid waste, biomedical waste, or waste tires in Kitsap County apply for a Solid Waste Handling Permit to be issued by the Kitsap County Health District. This requirement extends to large commercial haulers like Brem-Air Disposal and Rabanco, as well as small business and anyone who receives payment to haul garbage or debris. FACILITiES

The Solid Waste Regulations require that all solid waste handling facilities operating in Kitsap County apply for a Solid Waste Handling Permit to be issued by the Kitsap County Health District. This requirement applies to all drop-boxes, recycling facilities, landfills, transfer stations, composting facilities, and moderate risk waste collection facilities.
