Business pollution prevention Program Services

Technical Assistance

The Kitsap County Health District’s Business Pollution Prevention Program provides pollution prevention technical assistance through consultation visits, publications, and the business pollution prevention web site.

Financial Assistance

The Health District’s Voucher Incentive Program (VIP) offers rebates of up to $350 for qualified pollution prevention expenses. Through VIP, a business can request a rebate for qualified expenses on waste disposal, new pollution control equipment, or waste testing. The VIP will rebate 50% of the expense, up to a total of $350. To qualify, the expense must be a result of suggestions made during a consultation visit with Health District pollution prevention staff. Recognition and Promotion
