Welcome Home Baby program provides newborn home visits for families living in Kitsap County. A public health nurse who has expertise in the field of maternal and newborn health provides the visits.

Visits within the first week of the infant's birth include:

• Assistance with breastfeeding.
• Weight check for baby.
• Information on self-care for mother.
• Community resources.
