National Spit Tobacco Education Program
Oral Health America's National Spit Tobacco Education Program (NSTEP) was founded in 1994 as an effort to educate the baseball family and the American public about the dangers of smokeless or spit tobacco, and break the long-standing link between this potentially deadly drug and America's pastime. Each year, anywhere from 10 to 16 million Americans put their health at risk by using spit tobacco products.

The Campaign for Tobacco Free Kids

Washington State Resources

Washington State Tobacco Prevention and Control Program
The State Department of Health funds tobacco prevention and control activities through local health departments and community organizations in all 39 Washington counties. In addition, the state funds anti-tobacco activities in 27 tribes and five community-based organizations serving higher-risk populations. Local Educational Service Districts receive funds for school-based programs.

The Tobacco Smokes You!
Concert program is sponsored by the Washington State Department of Health Tobacco Prevention and Control Program, in conjunction with House of Blues Concerts Northwest and the Seattle Theatre Group.
