What Is Emergency contraception
(ECP)?
Emergency contraceptive pills help protect against pregnancy if
used within 72 hours (3 days) of unprotected intercourse.
How Effective Is ECP?
ECP is 80% effective in preventing an unplanned pregnancy. It is
more effective if taken closer to the time of unprotected sex.
